Description
Early in the morning at 6am our guide will pick you up from your hotel (by motorbike). On the way to Phnom Kulen you will first get information about our organisation and what we actually do. Arriving at Phnom Kulen we have a typical Cambodian breakfast before meeting a local guide who leads us through the beautiful scenery of Phnom Kulen. Along the way you will find ancient abandoned temples, beautiful viewpoints, a bat cave and the elephant statue Sra Damrei to explore and trek through cashew plantations and the jungle. A strengthening authentic Cambodian lunch is served at any place in a temple complex. At the end we visit the holy 1.000 Lingas and the beautiful waterfall, especially on a hot day if you’re burned out from visiting temples, you would find this swim utterly refreshing. After 12km trekking it is time to slowly start the way home and thus your guide drives you back to your hotel after a wonderful day.
