Tour Starting Point

The tour starts at Bayon Pastry School, where you will receive a short tour overview from our guide before heading to our school. There you will get an impression of where your donation actually goes and how much it helps the people in the surrounding area. Afterwards we continue to a small local market, where you get an authentic insight into the typical life of the local population. Please note that we can only visit the market in the morning as it is closed in the afternoon. Now that we have seen where people go for breakfast and shopping in the morning, it is time to find out where all this comes from. So let’s get out to the countryside. Together we explore rice and vegetable fields, mango plantations, observe Cambodians fishing and visit a duck and lotus farm. To get a complete insight into Cambodian life, we stop at one of the most beautiful pagodas in the surrounding area. There, our guide will show you the connection between Buddhism and Hinduism and explain to you how deeply the religion is rooted in the daily life of the Cambodians.
